How the session works
SubZero uses pressurized CO₂ and monitors skin temperature and device distance. The area, settings and duration are selected for your session.
The cold phase
The handheld device cools the selected skin area while the operator monitors the session.
The rewarming phase
After the application stops, the skin gradually returns toward its usual temperature.
The recovery response
We check how you feel afterward and discuss next steps. Responses vary; a change in sensation does not establish that an injury has healed.
What a session actually feels like
Expect a focused cold sensation. Tell your provider immediately if it becomes painful or uncomfortable, so the application can be adjusted or stopped. Ask about the sensations to expect for your chosen service before starting.
